How It Works

High-intensity laser beams seal off abnormal veins without damaging surrounding tissue. Through targetted precision technique.

Pre-Procedure

• Avoid the sun, tanning, or spray tans for at least 2 weeks prior to procedure.

• Shave area to be treated if hair is at the area.

• Arrive clean with no make up or products on area.

Procedure

• Skin will be clean and prepped with alcohol solution.

• During the procedure, a cold, compressed air will be felt on the treatment area and a focused laser beam hits the vessel. The aim is to target the furthest branch and going more central of the vein.

• Clinical end point would be disappearance or a change in color of the vein or at most 3 laser shots at one area.

Post-Procedure

• Post-treatment care includes avoiding sun exposure, using sunscreen, and following any specific instructions provided by the practitioner.

• Avoid prolonged standing, exercise, or aggravation of the treated area.

• Wear compression stockings if legs were treated.

• Temporary redness or soreness may occur, but these side effects usually subside quickly. Bruising can occur as the vessel is destroyed.

• Follow up appointments in 4-6 weeks if needed.
