Spray Tanning
$70
Spray tanning is a sunless tanning method that gives the skin a bronzed glow without exposure to UV rays. It involves applying a fine mist of tanning solution, which contains dihydroxyacetone (DHA)—a sugar compound that reacts with proteins in the outer layer of the skin to create a temporary tan
Before the Procedure
-
Exfoliate – Start exfoliating 3-5 days before your appointment to remove dead skin cells.
-
Hair Removal – Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your session to prevent uneven tanning.
-
Clean Skin – Shower before your appointment but avoid lotions, oils, deodorants, and makeup on the day of your tan.
-
Wear Loose Clothing – Choose dark, loose-fitting clothes to prevent streaks after your session
During the Procedure
-
The esthetician will evaluate your skin tone and discuss the desired shade.
-
A patch test may be performed for sensitive skin.
-
You will stand in a protective spray tent and be manually airbrushed by a esthetician.
-
A barrier cream is applied to dry areas (elbows, knees, hands, feet) to prevent excessive absorption.
-
The tanning solution is sprayed evenly in multiple passes, ensuring full coverage.
-
You will be standing still while the solution dries
After the Procedure
-
Avoid Water & Sweat – Wait at least 2-8 hours before showering, and avoid sweating or moisture during this time.
-
Gentle Showering – Use lukewarm water and mild, oil-free body wash. Avoid scrubbing.
-
Moisturize Daily – Hydrated skin helps maintain your tan longer, but avoid oil-based lotions.
-
Skip Harsh Products – Avoid exfoliating, bar soaps, and alcohol-based products that can fade your tan
