CO2 Fractional Laser
A CO2 fractional laser treatment is a type of laser skin resurfacing procedure that uses targeted beams of light to improve the texture and appearance of your skin. This is an ablative procedure that requires at least 7 days time for healing.
How It Works:
-
Targeted Beams: The laser emits short, concentrated beams of light that penetrate the skin's surface.
-
Vaporization: These beams vaporize the superficial layer of the skin (epidermis), removing damaged skin cells.
-
Collagen Production: The heat from the laser also stimulates the deeper layer of the skin (dermis), promoting the production of new collagen fibers.
-
Healing Process: As the skin heals, new, firmer, and smoother skin replaces the old layers.
Benefits:
-
Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles: Helps smooth out fine lines and deep wrinkles.
-
Improves Skin Texture: Treats acne scars, sunspots, age spots, and uneven skin texture.
-
Treats Skin Conditions: Can address skin discoloration, enlarged pores, and certain skin growths.
-
Minimal Downtime: Fractional lasers are less invasive than traditional CO2 lasers, resulting in shorter recovery times
