Guatemala MissionComplexions Rx has a long standing commitment to humanitarian care. We support our Medical Directors humanitarian work and missions world wide. We have assisted with projects in Guatemala, India, Pakistan, Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Chili, Paraguay and Brazil. Our major focus over the past 16 years has been with HELPS International in rural and underserved Guatemala. HELPS International has been organizing surgical missions into Central America since 1982. This year alone 10 HELPS teams will each spend 12 days in Guatemala. Approximately 70 people participate on each mission. The medical teams are composed of physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff. All participants are volunteers and self funded. On an average mission 200 to 300 surgical procedures are performed. Equally important close to 3000 people will receive evaluation and necessary medical treatment. Teams travel to remote locations in Guatemala and set up field hospitals in existing, but unutilized structures. HELPS enjoys an excellent relationship with the government, as well as the people, of Guatemala. This year Dr. Morton’s team traveled to Joyaba, Guatemala. Thank you for your interest in our project. Your donation will directly support our next mission,
