Botox® Cosmetic

Treatments on the face help relax wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. We also provide Botox in the underarm area for excessive sweating.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers (Collagen, Restylane, Juvaderm, Radiesse) – There are many dermal fillers, what determines the best type to use is based on what area of the face needs enhancement and your prior experience with fillers. Our Nurse Practitioners are experts in the use of these fillers and work with you to obtain the best results.

Sculptra Aesthetic

Sculptra Aesthetic is a new type of facial injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid, which helps to replace lost collagen. It helps correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles, and folds, that appear with aging by replacing lost collagen. The main ingredient is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used by physicians for decades.

Facial Chemical Peels

We provide a variety of superficial to medium depth chemical peels. Our focus is to provide a chemical peel that gives results with minimal to no downtime and few risks. Glycolic Acid (70%), Jessner’s, TCA, and Retinoic Acid are among the chemical agents we use. Once we know your problem areas we can advise you on the best option.

Prescription power for the perfect peel

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Many of us only focus on our "imperfections". We all have them...fine lines, rough skin texture or uneven skin coloring. They can prevent us from seeing our own beauty. Now you can correct these "imperfections" and have a healthier looking complexion faster and more easily than ever. The answer lies below the skin's surface where fresh cells can develop. Deep exfoliation is the first step in reflecting a more beautiful you. The right peel can be your solution and Complexions Rx now offers a cosmetic peel designed to visibly exfoliate and renew.

Perfection Peel represents a breakthrough in the use of tretinoin, the prescription age-reversal medication clinically provento reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture and create a more vibrant and evenly colored complexion. In a concentration three times those of topical pharmaceuticals, this peel accelerates the process of skin cell turnover while increasing the production of elastin and collagen. Gentle and effective, Perfection Peel produces a mild tingling sensation followed by moderate peeling beginning in 2-3 days.

A Few Things to Remember from our Nurse Practitioner

  • In preparation for your Peel, we ask that you discontinue use of all retinoid products such as Retin-A®, Renova® or Afirm® three days prior to your appointment.
  • Remenber...your skin will be particularly sensitive to sun exposure for the first two weeks. We recommend minimal direct sun exposure and consistent application of an SPF 30 protection.
  • You may experience tingling and itching more than one day after your peel and remember everyone responds differently to the degree of peeling experienced.
  • To optimize your results we recommend the following guidelines for additional Complexions Rx treatments and products:
    • On the same day you may use: fundamental skin care, sun protection
    • 48 hours after your peel (or when peeling has stopped), you may resume retinoids (Retin-A®, Renova® or Afirm®)
    • One week before or after your treatment you may have: Facials
    • Two weeks before or after your treatment you may have: Microdermabrasion, Intralesional Therapy, Botox® or Collagen
    • Four weeks before or after your treatment you may have: Facial waxing or CoolTouch Laser Therapy

At Complexions Rx, safety and results come first. Therefore, our Nurse Practitioners recommend:

  • You remain accessible for a follow-up visit (if necessary) within four days of your treatment.
  • Discontinue use of Accutane one year prior to your treatment.
  • If you are pregnant or nursing, this treatment is not recommended.

Laser Treatments

Laser Hair Removal (Lyra) can be done safely and effectively with a commitment to multiple treatments. Treatment of broken blood vessels and age spots can be achieved successfully with our KTP laser (Aura) or our IPL (Starlux). For minimization of wrinkles (CoolTouch) we also have several laser options. All laser treatments have minimal to no downtime.

Personal Skincare Plan Consultations with a Skincare Consultant are complimentary and include a review of your current skincare regimen and a recommended skincare plan based on you skin type and lifestyle.

ActiveFX™

ActiveFX™ is a serious treatment for serious wrinkles and pigmentation! We are happy to introduce the active total Fx laser treatment. The latest advancement in minimal downtime, fractional CO2 laser treatments for aging skin.

Benefits Include:

Leg Vein Treatment - Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is the eradication of visible or otherwise noticeable blood vessels of the legs (or rarely other body sites) by injection of medications.

Acne Treatment

Let's face it - acne affects more than how you look. It affects how you feel. And that affects everything. Now for the good news: You can control your acne. All it takes is patience, motivation, and the experts at Complexions Rx. Our Dermatologic Nurse Practioners and Estheticians will provide a customized acne care program that will help you face the world with confidence.

Pigmentation Therapy

Melasma is an acquired light or dark brown hyperpigmentation. It occurs in exposed areas, most often the face, and results from exposure to sunlight; may be associated with pregnancy, ingestion of contraceptive hormones, or certain medications such as diphenylhydantoin (Dilantin) or may be idiopathic. It is more common in females with brown colored skin, those who are taking oral contraceptives, and live in sunny areas.

Skin Tag Treatment

Those annoying little teardrop-shaped skin growths you keep finding around your underarms, neck or bra line are called skin tags and we know how they get a little painful sometimes when your skin rubs against them.

What is Skin Tag Treatment?

Complexions Rx uses the newest and safest technology to minimize or remove skin tags. The old methods of cutting them off with a razor or scissors or burning them off risks bleeding, some pain and/or retreatment. The Hyfrecator used by Complexions Rx sends a small current through a disposable wand and vaporizes the skin tag close to the best to remove the base to remove the unwanted skin growth. All that's smoother, younger looking skin.

Micropigmentation (Permanent Makeup)

A form of cosmetic tattooing used to enhance facial features. Imagine having perfectly designed eyebrows, gorgeously defined eyes and sensual looking lips lasting not for a day but for several years. Micropigmentation is the perfect solution for those who are very busy, active in sports, have vision problems, allergies to conventional cosmetics, or just want to look good consistently. Permanent cosmetics will always give you the look that something is there, even when you are not wearing make-up. Look your best and enjoy hassle free beauty.
