What Is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a natural way to safely exfoliate the skin without chemicals.

How Does It Work?

A unique procedure using sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) crystals that are propelled at a high speed in combination with a mild suction to efficiently abrade the skin.

What Are The Benefits?

  • Increase blood flow and circulation
  • Decrease fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improves large pores, acne and acne scars
  • Increase collagen and elastin

Why Baking Soda?

Our microdermabrasion system uses pure baking soda to evenly abrade the skin. Unlike most microdermabrasions that use aluminum oxide, baking soda is not harmful. It will not cause redness or irritation even on the most sensitive skin types. The biggest advantage is that the lips, as well as the skin directly under the eyes, can be treated.

Does A Microdermabrasion Treatment Hurt, and Will I Have Down Time?

Microdermabrasion with baking soda is relatively painless. Our unique baking soda treatment will allow you to resume your daily routine without any downtime. Your skin will have a vibrant and smooth appearance.

Am I A Good Candidate For Microdermabrasion?

Anyone interested in improving their skin regardless of age, ethnicity or skin type is a good candidate.

How Often Will I Need Treatment?

Treatments are recommended in a series of six with the first three scheduled one week apart and then two weeks apart.  This should be followed with monthly maintenance treatments.

Does The Type of Equipment Make A Difference?

Absolutely, and we are the first in our area to offer the latest in microdermabrasion technology by Advanced Microderm. Allow our highly trained skin care specialists to prove how beneficial the treatment can be.
