What is a Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioner?

Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioners are registered nurses who have obtained comprehensive post graduate training and advanced clinical experience culminating in licensure as a health care provider. In addition, the Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioners receive extensive specialized training in dermatology and cosmetic treatments and procedures. Nurse Practitioners administer on-site therapies and prescription care under the supervision of the Medical Director, following the director's guidelines and protocols. These protocols detail the safe and specific medical care associated with each individual treatment and service provided by Complexions Rx.

Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioners are recognized as specialists in patient education and client service. Providing on-site medical expertise to Complexions Rx clients and Center staff.

Your Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioner will provide a personalized skincare consultation including recommendations for appropriate medical treatments, esthetic services, skincare products and prescriptions to enhance the health and beauty of your skin.

Jane Eberlein, NP

Jane Eberlein earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) at University of Wisconsin in 1972. She went on to achieve her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 1981 at University of California Medical School and was awarded her Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) with Honors in 1991 at University of San Diego.

As a Complexions Rx Dermatologic Nurse Practitioner, Jane’s commitment to her clients, along with her personal and caring touch, have earned her and her clients rewarding results. With over thirty five years of professional experience in nursing, associated with providing comprehensive healthcare, Jane makes a difference in the lives of her clients through education and personalized attention.

Jane’s dedication to her clients and profession span more than three decades achieving numerous awards, certificates, national and local leadership responsibilities, professional memberships and retired Commander status in the U.S.Navy. Her awards include:

  • Navy Meritorious Service Medal, Commendation Medal, & Achievement Medal
  • Certificate of Appreciation from the President of the United States
  • Certificates of Commendation and Appreciation from Governor’s and Admirals
  • Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Senior Nurse of the Year

  • Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Practice

She holds professional memberships in the American College of Nurse Practitioners, California Association of Nurse Practitioners, past president of Uniformed Nurse Practitioner Association, Inc., Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, past membership in Association of Military Surgeons of United States, and The AAFP Teachers of Family Medicine. She has presented her research to several professional organizations and as guest lecturer on numerous occasions. She is active in her community, church and professional organizations and continues to dedicate herself to making a difference in people’s lives.

Stacey Ross earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) at Oklahoma Baptist University in 1986. In 1999 she was awarded her Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) at California State University , Long Beach . Stacey's approach to healthcare, promoting a healthy lifestyle through personal counseling and education, is reflected in her dedication and success as a medical practitioner.

As a Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioner, Stacey combines her education, practical experience and educational skills to develop individually tailored, comprehensive skincare programs that yield truly satisfying results for her clients. She is personally committed to continuing education and promotion of overall good health. She believes that educating her clients and designing a personalized regimen for them will not only achieve desired results, but truly improve the way clients feel about themselves as well.

Stacey has 16 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse, Educator and Nurse Practitioner. As a Nurse Practitioner, Stacey has focused on providing comprehensive patient care and healthcare education, specializing in Adults and Geriatrics education. As an educator Stacey has taught classes in both the medical community and for the benefit of her peers in the San Diego community on a variety of healthcare subjects.

Asa D. Morton, MD

Complexions Rx Medical Director, & Co-Owner

ASA MORTON, M.D., a native San Diegan, received his undergraduate degree from Revelle College , University of California, San Diego . Prior to pursuing a career in medicine he took time to fulfill a childhood dream of flight and served five years as a Navy Jet pilot. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine, Bethesda , Maryland . Upon graduation Dr. Morton was awarded the Surgeon General Award for academic excellence, medical professionalism and leadership skills.

Dr. Morton completed his internship and ophthalmology residence training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Morton was assigned to the Naval Hospital Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico , where he ran the Ophthalmology department. Selected for the highly competitive University of Michigan fellowship program (Go Blue), Dr. Morton spent two years studying and operating with innovators in the field of Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery of the eyelids, forehead, face, orbits and lacrimal system.

Dr. Morton served as the director of Oculoplastics and orbital reconstruction, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, more commonly known as the “President's Hospital.” He is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda , MD. He has published numerous articles and contributed to several texts.
