Complexions Rx Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses have received specialized advanced training and obtained clinical experience in a variety of cosmetic treatments and procedures.  The nurses administer on-site therapies under the supervision of the Medical Director, following the director's guidelines and protocols. Complexions Rx nurses are recognized as specialists in patient education and client services.

Jane Eberlein, NP

Jane earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) at University of Wisconsin, her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate at University of California Medical School, and was awarded her Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) with Honors from the University of San Diego.

As a Complexions Rx Dermatologic Nurse Practitioner, Jane’s commitment to professionalism and her caring touch have earned her clients rewarding results. With over forty years of experience providing comprehensive healthcare, Jane makes a difference in the lives of her clients through education and personalized attention.

Jane’s dedication to her clients and profession span more than four decades. During this time she has achieved numerous awards, certificates, national and local leadership responsibilities, professional memberships and retired status in the U.S.Navy.

She holds professional memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, California Association of Nurse Practitioners, past president of Uniformed Nurse Practitioner Association, Inc., Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, past membership in Association of Military Surgeons of United States, and The AAFP Teachers of Family Medicine. She has presented her research to several professional organizations and acted as a guest lecturer on numerous occasions. She is active in her community and continues to dedicate herself to making a difference in people’s lives.

Kimberly Hallgren MSN, FNP-BC

KimberlyKimberly grew up in Colorado. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Regis University in Denver. A few years later, she received her Masters of Science Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner training from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. From the Mountains to the Sea, she has worked in a variety of settings to include Internal Medicine, General Surgery and Urgent Care. To add to her experience she has completed advanced neuromodulator and filler training with Allergan, Galderma, and Revance products. She is professional and caring and takes time to listen and advocate for her patients while bringing a bright personality and strong Nurse Practitioner background to our team. She prides herself on practicing safe and current skin care techniques and is dedicated and passionate about continuing to learn all she can to best take care of her clients.

Christine Vazquez, DNP-C

Asa Morton, MDDr. Christine Vazquez completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of San Diego, with dual track specialty in Family Practice and Adult-Gerontology. She has over a decade of nursing experience ranging from hospital and private practice work to medical aesthetics. Medical aesthetics has always been a passion of hers, as she believes that feeling good about the way you look plays a pivotal role in confidence and self-esteem. Her goal is to help clients feel their best and look their best. She is board certified with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in both FNP and AGNP specialties and is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP).

She has skills of advanced aesthetic training, with certification and training on injectables such as Botox and Juvederm, as well as Evolve Inmode for bodysculpting, Vivace radiofrequency (RF) microneedling and IPL/laser hair removal. Her hobbies include traveling, acrylic painting, camping, and hiking with her mini husky.

Jennifer Hanley, PA-C

JenniferJennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola Marymount University in 2006 where she graduated cum laude, and her Master in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University in 2008 where she graduated with honors. She has practiced as a board certified Physician Associate full time since 2008. She has extensive training in diagnostic and procedural medicine from 3 years in internal medicine as well as nearly 10 years in minimally invasive spine surgery where accolades include numerous publications in top medical journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the California Academy of Physician Assistants where she collaborates with other aesthetic Physician Associates about the latest advancements in the field of aesthetics. Jennifer has always had a passion for anti-aging medicine and has a deep desire to help people make positive changes in their lives through subtle procedural enhancements. She has applied her delicate touch from minimally invasive spine surgery to the performance of minimally invasive cosmetic procedures with excellent results. Jennifer has advanced training in aesthetic injection techniques and is also committed to providing personalized care through a comprehensive approach focused on patient education so clients can make truly informed choices about treatments they receive.

Jennifer is the mother of 2 boys, whom she and her husband raise in Carlsbad, California. In her free time, she enjoys running, biking, and swimming. She takes great pride in being a mom as well as a medical aesthetic professional.

Mary Rieger

MaryBorn and raised in San Diego, CA, Mary has over 30 years’ experience in the aesthetics and retail industry, served in the United States Naval Reserves for 6 years with an honorable discharge. Mary joined the Complexions Rx team 14 years ago, and has built strong relationships with clients throughout the years. Is actively involved with the business and training, and appreciates Complexions Rx’s positive environment that promotes self-confidence and assurance.

Mary is the mother of four children, and enjoys spending summers with her family at Goose Pond, NH. She loves watching her son play baseball, driving her 1972 VW Bug (which she has owned since she was 16), spending time with her dog and being a foodie trying new restaurants or cooking at home.

April Sanchez

AprilApril is a Southern California Native. She graduated from Cal State University San Marcos in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Before joining Complexions Rx, April was a volunteer as a dental assistant, providing dental care to underserved communities of North County. She also spent a year volunteering in a hospital where she gained experience in various departments, including the post-op and emergency departments.

April’s typical day centers on ensuring that our clients feel cared for and welcomed. She greets them with a friendly smile when they arrive, schedules appointments, and answers any questions clients might have. When she is not at work, April enjoys exercising, eating at her favorite restaurants, traveling, and spending time with her best friends.

Asa D. Morton, MD

Complexions Rx Medical Director, & Co-Owner

Asa Morton, MDASA MORTON, M.D., a native San Diegan, received his undergraduate degree from Revelle College , University of California, San Diego . Prior to pursuing a career in medicine he took time to fulfill a childhood dream of flight and served five years as a Navy Jet pilot. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine, Bethesda , Maryland . Upon graduation Dr. Morton was awarded the Surgeon General Award for academic excellence, medical professionalism and leadership skills.

Dr. Morton completed his internship and ophthalmology residence training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Morton was assigned to the Naval Hospital Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico , where he ran the Ophthalmology department. Selected for the highly competitive University of Michigan fellowship program (Go Blue), Dr. Morton spent two years studying and operating with innovators in the field of Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery of the eyelids, forehead, face, orbits and lacrimal system.

Dr. Morton served as the director of Oculoplastics and orbital reconstruction, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD, more commonly known as the “President's Hospital.” He is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda , MD. He has published numerous articles and contributed to several texts.
